About my Studio
Hi, I'm Simin.
I was born and raised in Tehran, where my love for art and design first began. In 2016, I moved to Chicago to pursue a Master’s degree in Architecture, a field that deepened my understanding of form, space, and material. After several years of practicing in both art and architecture, I felt a pull to return to the tactile and expressive side of making—one that connects more directly with daily life.
That decision led me to launch my own creative practice, combining the precision of architecture with the spontaneity of art. I now live and work in Seattle, where I create handmade ceramic pieces that transform everyday objects into works of art. From tableware to vases, trays, and sculptural forms, each piece is crafted by hand, carrying its own character and story.
My goal is to bring art into the rhythms of daily life—whether through a mug used every morning, a vase that brightens a space, or a sculpture that sparks conversation. Every piece I create is unique, shaped by both intention and the unexpected beauty of the ceramic process.
By choosing my ceramics, you're not just choosing handcrafted pieces, but also supporting a small independent brand. It's more than just a purchase; it's an investment in a unique, artisanal touch that adds a special warmth to your life.
THANK YOU!
